We the Xanapuk, have made it our primary goal to protect our religion, history, songs, language and most importantly our beautiful planet Earth “Amutt”. It has been told, we don’t just learn these things, we must have dreams that come from our creator, Kumut. In which would lead us on the path we must follow.

From ancient times our people the Kwatsan “those who descended from Avi Kwa’meh” followed these dreams from Kumut. Even now these precious dreams pave the way for our future endeavors. This is how the Xanapuk were formed, from our collective dreams of reviving an ancient religion of ours “the Keruk”.

From time to time, we would share stories of our people’s journey through the songs of old. Songs that tell of joyous adventures, and sorrowful occasions. Along with the songs that talk about the adventures of the Coyote, Wonderboy, and of The First Man Created.
